Frank Loesser wrote the popular, “Baby it’s cold outside” in 1944. It has been performed usually in a duet version by Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald among other great singers. Today, the coldest January 7th in history, the country can harmonize the tune as the temperatures have fallen in all states except Hawaii. I am singing it now.
No one had to tell me to stay home; the below zero temperatures (9 below) spoke loud and clear!
It is bitterly cold. Offices, schools, and governmental offices are closed. The order of the day is stay warm and warmer.
