Growing up, we couldn’t wait for Easter Sunday. As a little girl, it meant Easter egg hunts, Easter baskets loaded with jelly beans, chocolate rabbits, and an assortment of sugary sweets. We went to church to recite the poems and scriptures that we practiced for weeks for our Easter program. We were dressed beautifully in our new Easter outfits. Maturing through the years, Easter came to mean more than Easter Baskets and new clothes. Jesus died so that we could live! Yes, he arose from the dead for you and me! What a mighty God we serve!
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” -John 11: 25-26
Happy Easter Sunday! God bless!
