We are familiar with the highly commercialized phrase “I have fallen and I can’t get up” jingle. It is directly associated with the Medic Alert television commercial. Falling is not always physical; it can be emotional. An emotional descent of significant magnitude may require helping hands to lift our down spirits. Problems can become bigger than us. When a person is an open book, he / she is less complicated to read; thus cure. Unfortunately, some people don’t wear their emotions on their sleeves. Woe to those who keep everything close to their vest because no one knows what is troubling them but them. We have to find an equilibrium between what we reveal and what we conceal. It is imperative that we raise above what knocked us down. For certain, we cannot help anyone when we are down, not even ourselves!
