I often heard my daughter talk endlessly about her amazing professor at Clark Atlanta University. She felt that he was the cat’s meow. “Mommy, my professor is the bomb!” Now, I agree! My description of him is a little different from my daughter’s, but of course, I am thirty years older than she. Needless to say, I too am fascinated by Dr. Kimbro’s work! His two basic questions are the same as mine: Why some individuals succeed and others fail? Why some are rich and wealthy and others impoverished? His theories are phenomenal. When time permits, I encourage you to check them out. It also proves another important point. We, as parents do learn from our children! So to my daughter, I give this advice: Do as Dr. Kimbro suggests, and when you become rich and famous, throw a little of that cash your Mommy’s way!
“Fame is a vapor, popularity is an accident, and money takes wings. The only thing that endures is character.”
