When we face challenges, though they may seem insurmountable, we can turn to the all-powerful Creator.
God’s strength and renewal can help us face our fears and do the impossible.
Here are seven scriptures that will uplift and strengthen us in times of adversities.
Psalm 27:1
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Psalm 37:39
“But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble.”
Psalm 138:3
“In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.”
Matthew 19:26
“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
2 Corinthians 4:16
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.”
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
God knows what is best for us. He is always there for us. We just need to listen and adhere to the commandments of his Word.
There is strength in his Word.

Learn from it.
Draw from it.
Follow it.
You will be strengthen.

Strength is measurable. It often determines who remains standing and who falls by the wayside. Strength produces responsible and tangible results. Leaders emerge. Transferring that concept to business, our leaders share a weighty responsibility of guiding, teaching, and nurturing their team to victorious and profitable outcomes. It becomes a leader’s job to hire, coach, train, and produce a strong team. Likewise, it is the leader’s duty to rehabilitate where appropriate and remove where necessary those people who do not fit in or contribute to the common good. As gardeners separate the wheat from the chaff, so does a strong leader weed out the bad seeds. Tightening up his / her organization gives it strength; endurable strength at that. Strong organizations, be they businesses or families are bound together by commonalities. Their strength equivalently resembles a chain. Thus, we are only as strong or powerful as our weakest person. The weak must be made stronger or the chain will break. It is the responsibility of the leader empowering his group members to assist and bring to term the weakest one. If that cannot be accomplished, someone has to be removed. If not, the chain will break … and without the necessary intervention, there is only one outcome – namely, the good suffers with the bad! The strong falls at the hand of the weakling! The desired outcome is survival and forming an unbreakable chain. Don’t sit idle and watch the chain break! It is destined to happen – if nothing happens!
