“You reap what you sow” is a proverb that stipulates that
you eventually have to face up to the consequences of your actions.
In Galatians 6:7 we read, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
To bring home the point, allow me to share a few thought provoking quotes.
“ It has been said that life is like an echo. What you send out, you get back; what you give, you receive; what you reap, you sow; what you see in others, exists in you.”
“Your mind is like a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.”
“Your beliefs don’t make you a better person; your behavior does.”
“Karma is just a shorter word for consequences.”
“If you want kindness, be kind. If you want friends, be friendly. If you want love, be loving. If you want respect, respect yourself. You will get more by giving than asking.”
“You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choices.”
“Don’t be upset by the results you didn’t get with the work you didn’t do.”
“Your thoughts become your words; your words become your actions; your actions become your habits; your habits become your character; and your character becomes your destiny.”
Therefore, be careful with what you do or say. Not only that! What could you do that you don’t? Retaliation, harassment, sneakiness, and underhanded conduct may be a part of your act. Watch it! What goes around comes around; what goes up comes down! God is watching and listening. He sees your heart and knows your thoughts. Nothing escapes his view or go unnoticed. What you do in the dark comes to light. Your actions are in God’s full view. Be wise. Make good choices. Eventually, you will receive back what you gave out. You will reap what you sow!
God bless! Happy Sunday!
