Yes that’s right! Do not stoop to a level beneath you! Do not degrade yourself, your integrity or purpose. Doing things beneath your moral and ethical standards will take you there! Certainly, do not be debased just to please. The old folks in Mississippi would say, “Don’t bow down to nobody but the Lord. Only get on your knees to pray.”
So, we should stand tall and reach for the sky. Lowering our standards is not an option. No, none of us can afford to stoop down to satisfy. Our intelligence and critical thinking are door openers as we recognize that -
