Yes, nothing is better than the truth! This is a simple statement that carries a lot of weight! How profound! The Bible speaks about the tragedies of arrogant lips, false witnesses, deception, falsehoods, and unwholesome talk. Proverbs 12:22 says “The Lord detests lying lips. But he delights in men who are truthful.” Remember the first lie started in the Garden of Eden with the serpent saying to the woman, “You will not surely die.” Being truthful is the foundation of our soul. We should work hard to uphold our words to others!
Nothing is better than a person being truthful and following his words.
It is music to our souls!
