Nothing has changed! The behavior is the same. Some folks never learn their lessons. It is difficult to teach an old dog new tricks. They see no need to change the “flavor” of their conduct because in their perfect world, nothing is wrong. If anything should change, it should be you! Why upset the apple cart! It is the “same soup warmed over.” It tastes the same, because it is the same! It reflects the status quo, an unchanging circumstance, and a lack of progress. Soup and people’s behavior can at times be very similar. Both can be enjoyable, bland, spicy, cold, warm, hot, unchanged, and unappetizing. Truly! Just observe and see! And lo and behold, some days, you just don’t desire the taste of the soup or the company of the person! Something different to spice up your taste buds and your life is desired!
