Considered NBA"s greatest player, Michael Jordan once stated “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
Those words carry an awe inspiring and powerful message.
Think about it!
If the greatest pushed himself, why don't we?
You can't win if you give up.
You can't win if you don't stay in the game.
Failure is part of the learning and growth process. “Nothing beats a failure but a try.” Shaking the dust off and starting all over again are prerequisites. It is only then that you become great. It is only then that you become the best that you can be. It is only then that you succeed .. simply because you didn't give up.
The Bottom Line is- - If we are to maximize our potential, it is imperative that we stay in the game, take it to the "basket" ... and of course make the winning "shot.”
