I was watching the Today Show yesterday and the coverage of this story caught my attention. It dealt with Friendships. According to the Today Show, "Studies suggest that friendships are as essential to our health, well-being and longevity as diet and exercise. as such they list the 5 types of friends as below.
Close friends - Close friends are people you've known for many years who have been with you through ups and downs. ...
Lifelong friends. ...
Friends of convenience. ...
Work friends. ...
Same-chapter-of-life friends. ...”
Can one friend fill all of these roles? I know not the answer.
I just know that having a true friend is a blessing! A blessing indeed!
