Have you ever asked a simple question and it took the person forever and a day to provide the answer and/or the answer that was given left you more perplexed or confused? Join the club if this has happened to you! It stands to reason as personified by the Chinese proverb _ The longer the explanation, the bigger the lie!
If a person is giving an elaborate & complex explanation (when the answer is quite simple), their response may be questionable. Further, it may need to be discounted, because you know that the truth may not be in the details; not at all!. It is for that reason that we recognize that the lips that speak may not always tell the simple truth!
