WHAT'S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER

By Vernalee

Double standards eventually present conflict and problems. Normally, they are classified as hypocritical. Are you a "Do what I say: not what I do" type? Bottom line: Don't expect what you are not willing to give/do. It simply doesn't add up. As the bankers say, "You can't take out more than you deposited.” Literally, what is good for a male goose is equally good for a female goose. Said differently, what is good for one person should be equally as good for another person. The variances in treatment for the same actions are usually what present the problems. That is why, equal standards/applications work every time. Consistency is the better choice. It always pays off!
